My approach to hosting was shaped long before Halliday Experiences began. While working with Disney Cruise Line, I had the privilege of escorting guests on curated excursions, meeting exceptional local guides in cities like Rome and Madrid and learning what truly makes an experience feel seamless, elevated, and memorable.

That global standard inspired me to bring the same level of care home to Toronto: thoughtful pacing, warm facilitation, and the kind of details that make guests feel looked after from start to finish. "Jessica our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable her demeaner made the tour really enjoyable. Our small group of 6 mixed well and this was mainly down to Jessica’s encouragement. The food was varied and interesting some of which we preferred more than others, doing the tour gave us a chance to experience different foods from around the world that we wouldn’t have found on our own. "We scheduled this tour as filler for our vacation itinerary as we arrived in Toronto a day early for our ViaRail train trip to Jasper. We have taken city food tours before and thought this might a good way to fill the day. We didn't think it would be a highlight of the vacation until we met Jessica. She did a wonderful job guiding us through the diversity of Kensington market, sampling different ethnic cuisines along the way. She has done a masterful job researching and getting to know the back story of each restaurant we visited and how the owners make up the rich immigrant story of Toronto.
